I can totally relate to the nailbiting time of buying a new property (& selling an old one) It's called one of the most stressful time in our lives for a reason!
However, this transaction sounds more complex...
I have no idea who Clark Grisworld is (exposing my cultural illiteracy), your final sentence adds a heavy cloud layer to the cliff you leave your readers dangling on... by next Friday our fingers might be frozen 😅
Clark Griswold is a somewhat clueless but well-meaning dad in the movie National Lampoon's Vacation, where he attempts to drive his wife and two kids across half the U.S. to the mythical Wally-World amusement park. Although no one really wants to go but him. 😅
Oh man! Next Friday seems like a long ways away 😉
Will see what I can do 😁

Great ending to this chapter. I hope Paul doesn’t have to sell his soul in the process. I guess I’ll just have to wait.
Thanks Lor. I struggled a little with the chapter ending, so it’s nice to hear that.
Releasing on a weekly/serial basis is a double edged sword… hopefully Paul will find a way to keep grinning next chapter…
:)
